Halal Meat in Hanoi

There are several sources for halal meat in Hanoi both local and import.

Local Halal Meat Sources

Mr. Ishmael is a well known Indian Muslim halal meat provider for most of the halal restaurants and Muslim Embassies in Hanoi.

Imported Halal Meat (New Zealand)

You can find halal sheep (both frozen and chilled) at Foodscom.  Be sure to visit the store first and specifically ask for the halal meat (Bring a Vietnamese speaker).  The halal meat here will be quite expensive ranging from 365,000 VND ($18.25 US) – 825,000 VND ($41.50 US) per kilo since it is imported.
